Diversity is more valuable: Our broad portfolio includes a wide range of technical compounds, produced on various compounding lines at our locations worldwide. With a total capacity of 155 kt/year, we continuously collaborate with local customers to implement new developments. With our long-standing expertise, we focus on lighting, lightweight materials and recycled as well as bio-based compounds, while also responding to individual customer requirements across diverse markets.
Our brands consistently p rove themselves in demanding applications – in automotive as well as electrical/electronic and in home & garden segments. We aim to offer, for each brand, an alternative with recycled or bio-based content.
Alfater XL®
Alfater XL®combines as a thermoplastic vulcanized elastomer the best of both worlds: the versatile properties of elastomers and the simple workability of thermoplastics. Our TPV-Portfolio contains several products that help to make blow mold-, extrusion-, and injection mold applications more flexible and more economical. Alfater XL® is durable and recyclable. Made with recycled PP, Alfater XL® ECO offers potential CO2 saving of up to approximately 40% compared with conventional TPV, without compromising on performance.
