Product Overview
Diversity is more valuable: Our broad portfolio includes a wide range of technical compounds, produced on various compounding lines at our locations worldwide. With a total capacity of 175,000 MT/year, we continuously collaborate with local customers to implement new developments. With our long-standing expertise, we focus on innovative solutions for Lighting, Lightweight and Sustainability, while also responding to individual customer requirements across diverse markets.
Our brands consistently prove themselves in demanding applications – in automotive as well as electrical/electronic and in home & garden segments. How you know we take sustainable product development seriously: We aim to offer a sustainable alternative for each of our brands, with emphasis on recycled materials.
Alfater XL®
Alfater XL®combines as a thermoplastic vulcanized elastomer the best of both worlds: the versatile properties of elastomers and the simple workability of thermoplastics. Our TPV-Portfolio contains several products that help to make blow mold-, extrusion-, and injection mold applications more flexible and more economical.
By the way: Alfater XL® is extremely resistant to external influences, yet is still easy to recycle – just like the even more sustainable Alfater XL ECO® made from recycled PP. If you chose this alternative, you could achieve a CO2 saving of almost 40 percent without compromising the familiar features of conventional TPV.
