MOCOM is still on track for gold in EcoVadis sustainability ranking

Hamburg, 13.07.2022. MOCOM has been awarded Gold for the second time in a row by the EcoVadis rating agency according to globally applicable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards. This places MOCOM among the top five percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis. The rating system of the assessment specialist is based on international CSR standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000, taking into account criteria from the environmental, social (labor and human rights), ethical and sustainable procurement areas.

MOCOM was able to increase its points in the areas of environment and sustainable procurement compared to the previous year. Indeed, new measures such as the definition of sustainability and environmental targets or the expansion of the supplier evaluation with a supplier questionnaire were positively recognized in the EcoVadis assessment.

This corresponds to CO₂ savings of almost 50,000 tons.
